Earth Day

Today is Earth Day.

To commemorate Earth Day, Wiglington and Wenks allowed us to time-travel to the past. What we saw was the Amazon Forest in Year 2030, twenty years from now.

It was a totally different sight from what it looks like now... Trees were fallen, animals lost their homes and became extinct. The Amazon River was too warm to bring life to sea creatures, as there was no longer a canopy sheltering it from the glaring hot sun. Global warming has caused the water temperature to rise as well.

Wiglington and Wenks' reminder is very timely. It is up to our generation to do something about saving our Earth and let's do it today.
